Christmas and New Year Timetable

We are dedicated to keeping you moving during the festive period and into the New Year.

If you’re heading out to bag a Boxing Day bargain, you can count on the tram to get you to the shops during the sales.

West Midlands Metro will be running a Sunday timetable, with trams from every 10 minutes on December 26, December 29 and on New Year’s Day.

Trams will be operating as normal at other times, with the exception of Christmas Day itself.

No trams will be running on December 25, but services will run as usual on the night of the 24thfor Christmas Eve revellers.

As on the night before Christmas, on New Year’s Eve, the last tram leaves Wolverhampton for Birmingham at 23.38 and for Wednesbury at 00.23. The last tram from Birmingham to Wolverhampton leaves Library at 23.30 and for Wednesbury Parkway at 00.30.

In summary: A normal service will be in operation over the holiday, with the exception of the following dates

25 December (Christmas Day)
No tram service will operate

26 December (Boxing Day)
A normal Sunday service will be in operation

1 January 2020 (New Year’s Day)
A normal Sunday service will be in operation
