West Midlands Metro has launched a short, animated video offering useful tips on how to use the tram during the coronavirus outbreak.
As well as outlining the latest advice for customers, it also highlights steps being taken to help prevent the spread of the virus on the tramway.
Carl Williams, Metro Director of Operations, explained: “There’s a lot of information out there about travelling on public transport during the pandemic, and the video offers a simple guide to the most important things to consider.
“Using simple, animated graphics it acts as a useful reminder about social distancing, travelling at quieter times and the requirement to wear a face covering.
“At the same time, it offers re-assurance for those who do need to use the tram that we’re doing all we can to keep customers and colleagues safe as more people return to the network.”
The video sits alongside a wide range of material already published by the Metro – both online and at tram stops – to keep customers informed of the latest government guidance and can be viewed here
