West Midlands Metro Tram on tracks outside of a building in Birmingham

Advertising

West Midlands Metro is the region’s popular and growing tram network.

We have external and internal advertising opportunities available for local and national clients.
Here is why:

West Midlands Metro (WMM) trams are seen by thousands of passengers every day.

We regularly operate through some of the busiest areas in the West Midlands, including Snow Hill, Jewellery Quarters, Bull Street, Corporation Street, Grand Central, Broad Street and Five Ways all of which are in the heart of Birmingham, plus The Hawthorns in West Bromwich, Bilston, St George’s and Railway Station in Wolverhampton.

Our tram network carries over 8 million customers a year, drives 2.5 million kilometres a year and is entering a period of major expansion which could see these numbers increase up to 35 million and 2.5 million respectively! Even better our customers include professionals, students and leisure users travelling across West Midlands every day. So, brand exposure is guaranteed!

With our varied mix of advertising channels, we can provide companies and brands with an opportunity to position their brand messages in front of a captured and engaging audience.

External Advertising

The West Midlands Metro fleet currently consists of 40 trams, 5 carriages long. External space available include a full Tram wrap or T-Bar wrap and other types of interactive advertising.

Internal Advertising

With around 25,000 plus customers using the Metro every day, there are plenty of ‘eyes’ attracted to internal messaging. We have internal opportunities such as coving panels (between the top of the windows and ceiling), digital displays screens and wall spaces close to the doors.
