With the new term just around the corner, West Midlands Metro has launched a new Child Season Ticket offer for youngsters travelling to school by tram.
Valid until December 31, and costing just £125, it’s just the ticket for getting to and from class, and out and about when school’s out.
Carl Williams, West Midlands Metro Director of Operations, explained: “The new Metro Child Season Ticket offers under-16s unlimited tram travel at any time and seven days a week during the autumn term and through to the end of the year.
“The tram offers the ideal alternative to the using the car for the school run and parents can even spread the cost by choosing to pay by direct debit.”
Season tickets are available online at www.westmidlandsmetro.com, along with details of the £36.50 monthly direct debit option.
“For a swift and convenient trip to school, it makes sense to take the tram and parents don’t need to worry about making sure their children have change to hand for their fare for if they’ve paid in advance for a season ticket,” Carl added.
