West Midlands Metro has launched a new recruitment drive as the organisation expands its operation, customer service and engineering resources.
Director of Operations, Carl Williams said: “These are exciting times for the Metro as we look forward to a significant expansion of our network. We’re looking for enthusiastic, talented people who can join our team to further improve our services both now and in the future.”
The organisation is on the lookout for new drivers, customer representatives and engineers and Mr Williams explained: “Overall we are creating over 40 new jobs over the coming months and we’re wanting to hear from people who think they have what it takes to help us to continue to develop as a strong, customer-facing business.”
The new roles offer competitive salaries and benefit packages and comprehensive training programmes are available so applicants do not have to possess previous experience in the tram sector.
