Students heading to college or university for the autumn term are being offered great value on travel to their lectures with the launch of a new tram season ticket.
Anyone aged over 18 and in full-time education – or 16-18 year olds in full-time education who are not eligible for the 16-18 Photocard – can take advantage of the Student Season Ticket.
At just £220 it offers unlimited travel at any time across the West Midlands Metro network and so it’s great for getting out-and-about at weekends or after class to meet friends, shopping or a night out.
Carl Williams, West Midlands Metro Director of Operations, explained: “Available now, the season ticket can be added to a Swift card, so you don’t have to worry about carrying change to pay for your trip.
“What’s more ticket is valid until the end of the year, so you can still use it when lectures finish for the Christmas break.”
