The West Midlands Metro website now has a new look which offers customers easier access to the latest information on tram services and ticketing information.
Launched earlier in the month, the eye-catching and user-friendly upgrades has been designed to improve customer experience by making it easier to navigate a range of useful features.
These include regular service updates, tram times and updated route maps following the successful launch of services to Edgbaston Village.
Elizabeth Cole, Marketing and Communications Manager at West Midlands Metro, explained: “The opening of the extension has provided the ideal opportunity to revamp the website which is now even more user-friendly.
“It has also been streamlined to improve navigation and performance across all types of mobile and smart devices, so it’s easier for customers to access the latest information while on the go.”
The upgrades to the website are more than skin deep, and behind the enhanced visuals the platform has been restructured to improve performance and boost search engine optimisation.
“As we enter a new era, the refresh will help future-proof the website for the thousands of people who visit it every day to help them find the information they need to get them moving across the West Midlands,” Elizabeth added.
