We know that not everyone can change the time they travel, but if you do have flexibility, why not travel during our quieter times. The charts below have been designed so that you can easily see when there are fewer people travelling, to help you to avoid busy periods and make your journey more comfortable.
On average, our quietest times to travel are weekends and between 9 am and 4:30 pm or after 7 pm, on weekdays.
We update these charts regularly to ensure that you have the most recent up to date information when planning your journey.

We remain committed to providing a regular, robust, and above all safe service for those who need it. In accordance with government advice we would urge you to only use public transport if absolutely necessary and where alternative travel options are not available.
