West Midlands Metro launches a new social media channel to engage with a new audience. The popular tramway already has a loyal following on Facebook and Twitter and are now reaching out to a different audience with the introduction of their Instagram account.
The new page will feature eye-catching post, promotions, competitions, snippets of Metro’s history and other essential information about the network.
Elizabeth Cole, Metro Marketing and Communications Manager, explained: “The launch of the new account has been timed to coincide with the recent opening of the new extension to Wolverhampton Station, which marked another milestone in the expansion of the network.
“By providing another way for customers to communicate with us, we hope even more people will engage with the Metro team as we work to provide a safe and secure, reliable and sustainable service for the thousands of customers who rely on us every day for work and leisure.”
